This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile applications and games developed and published by App Ideas S.r.l. (the “Company”, “we”, “us”) process personal data.

This policy applies to all apps and games published by App Ideas S.r.l. Unless otherwise specified, each app may enable only a subset of the processing activities described below.

The Company has not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as it is not required under Article 37 GDPR.

2. Categories of Data Processed

Depending on the app and the enabled features, we may process the following categories of personal data:

  • Device and technical data (e.g. device model, operating system, app version, language, country, IP address)
  • Identifiers (e.g. advertising identifiers such as IDFA or GAID, internal app identifiers)
  • Usage and performance data (e.g. session duration, in-app events, crash logs, diagnostics)
  • Advertising data (e.g. ad impressions, interactions, consent signals)

No user account or direct identifying information (such as name, email address, or phone number) is required to use our apps.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases of Processing

3.1 App Functionality and Technical Operations

Personal data is processed to ensure the correct functioning of the app, including bug fixing, security, performance monitoring, and internal statistics.

3.2 Analytics and Measurement

We may use third-party analytics and attribution services to understand how users interact with our apps and to improve gameplay and performance.

Analytics partners may include: Google (Firebase / Analytics), GameAnalytics, Adjust.

Depending on local law and app configuration, analytics processing may be based on:

  • Legitimate interest (for essential, aggregated analytics)
  • User consent collected through a Consent Management Platform (CMP)

3.3 Advertising

Our apps may display advertisements, including banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads.

  • Non-personalized advertising may be shown without user profiling.
  • Personalized advertising is shown only if the user provides explicit consent through the CMP.

Advertising partners may include, depending on the app: Google, AppLovin, Fyber, Ogury, Liftoff (Vungle), InMobi, IronSource, Unity Ads, Pangle (Bytedance), Meta, Moloco, Verve Group, OneTag, Mintegral.

Legal bases:

  • Non-personalized advertising: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
  • Personalized advertising: Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)

Users may change or withdraw their consent at any time via the app’s privacy or consent settings.

4. Consent Management Platform (CMP)

Where required by applicable law, we use a Consent Management Platform compliant with the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF 2.2) to collect, manage, and store user consent for advertising and analytics purposes.

5. Additional Permissions

Some apps may request optional permissions only if necessary for specific features, such as:

  • Notifications (to send app-related alerts)
  • Location data (only if explicitly enabled by the user for optional features)

Permissions are requested in real time and can be revoked at any time through device settings.

6. Data Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes described in this policy. In most cases, data is deleted or anonymized when the app is uninstalled or after predefined retention periods set by our service providers.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our apps are generally intended for a general audience and are not specifically directed at children under the age required by applicable law (e.g. under 13 or 16, depending on jurisdiction).

If an app is directed to children or includes age-restricted features, we apply appropriate safeguards, including limiting personalized advertising and data collection where required.

8. Data Transfers Outside the EU

Some of our service providers and advertising partners may process data outside the European Union. Where such transfers occur, they are carried out in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the use of Standard Contractual Clauses or other appropriate safeguards.

The data subject has the right to access personal data; to obtain rectification or deletion of data or restriction of processing; to object to processing; to data portability; to withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on consent given before withdrawal. In the event of a violation of personal data processing, the data subject may lodge a complaint with the Data Controller, the Data Protection Authority, or the competent Judicial Authority. The rights of the data subject may be exercised at the company’s registered office using the contact details indicated in the Data Controller section of this notice.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available via the app stores and within our apps.
